Teach Children To Read
The Can't Read Kid

Word Kid was at home reading words. Along came a Can't Read Kid and said, "What are you doing?"
Word Kid said, "I'm learning words. Would you like to help me learn them?"
"No, let's play," answered Can't Read Kid.
"Reading is playing," said Word Kid.
"Not to me," said the Can't Read Kid.
"THEN I'LL READ ALL BY MYSELF," Word Kid replied.
So off went the Can't Read Kid. He played all day. Word Kid stayed home and learned some new words. Everytime Can't Read Kid was playing, Word Kid learned new words instead. He kept asking for help from the Can't Read Kid, but the answer was always "NO"
Later that week there was a television advertisement that said,
"BE THE WINNER OF A BEST POEM CONTEST. YOU MAY WIN A HOT ROD IF YOU SEND IN A POEM. THERE WILL BE THREE PRIZES FOR THE BEST POEMS WRITTEN. SEND US YOUR POEM AND WIN."
Word Kid knew a few new words now, and wrote a short poem. He gave it to his mother and asked her to mail it to the contest address for him.....One week later he won the car. He was so surprised and happy when he got it. He couldn't wait to drive it.
While he was driving down the side walk and around the block, he saw Can't Read Kid still playing. Can't Read Kid saw him and said, "Wow! Where did you get that?
Can I drive that car ?"
"NO" answered Word Kid. I won it because I learned some new words. You wouldn't help me, so I had to study alone. I will let you ride in this hot rod, but I will drive it ALL BY MYSELF."

I have created a simple concept that's proven to teach children to read at very young ages. It's fun, easy, with creative original characters. I'm now looking for help in development and/or marketing. Let's get children to want to read by playing The WordKids game. You'll be so pleased when you see how much they love it
