THINGS THAT TICK ME OFF

  1. Not being able to completely understand the propositions that we vote for. They should be written in text form that even a fourth grade person could understand. This ticks me off.

  2. Allowing more than one issue to be included in a proposition. Known as piggy backing. Ticks me off.

  3. Once we vote for an issue the vote should stay in effect unless it's again proposed. Do you know that it doesn't. Example...I can remember when we all voted against pay T.V., but look at us today. We also voted not to spend money on anymore space programs, but here we are again with that one too.

  4. Having to be forced to do anything that protects me from me, you can warn me, but don't force me. I should have a choice in that or anything that has to do with myself. Example, if I don't wear a helmet and get hurt should NOT be the states problem. If it has to do with financial costs, then the insurance companies could have a clause that says that I'm not covered if I don't wear one, or have an extra fee if I wish to pay for it, but certainly I shouldn't get a fine. The same with a having to wear a seat belt without choice....That ticks me off.

  5. When I'm sick and in the hospital and I'm sleeping, other than medical attention, I shouldn't be woken up, even for eating time and/or visitors. There could be a choice in eating hours and a time for a visit. If I'm sleeping a do not disturb sign should be in view and for food, just give a snack if the main meal is missed. Rest I would think is most important. That ticks me off.

  6. School hours for children. We are still on a schedule of the old days. But today we live in a 24 hour time frame. People today work all hours. It would be so much better for many children and parents to have a second part of the day teaching time. This would also give more jobs for teachers, due to the fact we'd have two shift school hour days.

  7. The continuance of raising prices. Especially to Seniors that come to be on fixed incomes. Insurance, basic utilities, and taxes should stop being raised at least at some point of age. Golden years should mean and stand for something to look forward to. I don't see much of that and....That ticks me off.

For now that's all I can think of, but if more comes along I'll put it out here. Feel free to send me some of the things that.....

TICK YOU OFF
